Advanced dental technology at our Westchester office

TRIOS 3D Digital Scanner

TRIOS is a 3D digital scanner. Instead of biting down into a tray of goop to make a physical impression, TRIOS is a slim, ergonomic wand that a skilled dentist in Westchester County, NY, such as Dr. Brisman, simply waves over your teeth. In a fraction of the time required for physical impressions, TRIOS can construct a 3D digital model of your mouth that Dr. Brisman can use to design restorations. Once satisfied with the design, he can send the file immediately to our in-house dental lab, "On-The-Mark," or to our CEREC machine for milling.

In-House Dental Lab

Most dental offices in Westchester rely on dental labs in another state or country to make their dental restorations. However, as an expert prosthodontist, Dr. Brisman needed to work more closely with the dental lab to ensure everything was always made according to instructions and up to his high standard. That's why we have an in-house dental lab, "On-The-Mark."

CEREC

CEREC is a CAD/CAM dental milling machine. It utilizes the digital designs created by Dr. Brisman or the other dentists in our office to carve out dental crowns, dental bridges, and ceramic fillings. This may be a better approach to making your restorations in some situations than utilizing our lab facilities. That's why we have both options at our Westchester dental office.

CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography)

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) uses X-rays sent at different angles to construct a 3D image of your mouth and jawbone. CBCT tells us about the health, density, and shape of your bone so that we can plan dental implant procedures in great detail before we start oral surgery.

Key Benefits

  • Open plan -- no need to be inside a small tunnel
  • Low radiation -- less radiation than a typical CT scan
  • Fine resolution -- captures the fine details of your teeth and jaws to allow for the accurate planning necessary for dental implant procedures

VELscope

Early detection of oral cancer can lead to better results using less invasive treatments. VELscope is an amazing tool for cancer screening -- it can make even precancerous cells in your mouth glow so that your dentist will easily detect them.

Digital Smile Design

Digital smile design helps prosthodontist Dr. Brisman easily create a detailed plan for your new smile. The digital design also makes it easy for Dr. Brisman to show you the plan and what your potential results might look like. This helps you give creative input and feel comfortable with aesthetic dentistry decisions.

Advanced Dentures

Denture technology dates back thousands of years, and some dentures have changed little in that time. However, prosthodontist Dr. Brisman utilizes the latest technology to provide advanced dentures that are comfortable and effective. This includes dentures designed to rejuvenate your appearance.

Gemini II Laser

The Gemini II Laser is an advanced dental technology that improves pediatric care by offering precision, minimal discomfort, and faster healing. It's used for treating conditions like gum disease, canker sores, and partially erupted wisdom teeth. The laser reduces bacteria, controls bleeding, and often eliminates the need for anesthesia, making procedures safer and more comfortable for children, with quicker recovery and less pain.

All-on-4 and All-on-X Dental Implants

You can get a brand new smile with dental implants without replacing each tooth. Instead, at Advanced Dentistry of Scarsdale, we can replace an entire arch of teeth -- all the teeth on the top or bottom of your mouth -- using just a few dental implants, typically four to eight.
