Dr. Steven A. Brisman

For Dr. Steven A. Brisman, an early aptitude in math and science blended with a love of art. That developed naturally into an interest in dentistry -- that place where art and biology meet. Dr. Brisman attended Washington University in St. Louis to achieve his BA degree. He then received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Following dental school, Dr. Brisman completed additional dental training, serving first as a resident and then as Chief Dental Resident at North Shore University Hospital. In 1991, Dr. Brisman received his Prosthodontics certificate upon completing his post-doctoral work at the New York University College of Dentistry.

His extensive education and training have equipped him with the skills to handle complex dental issues, making him a go-to expert. Dr. Brisman's passion for dentistry is deeply rooted in his desire to make a meaningful impact on his patients' lives. "My favorite moments are when patients gain confidence in my skills and feel relieved knowing they've found a dentist who can restore their teeth and improve their quality of life."

He established an on-site, boutique dental laboratory called On-the-Mark Laboratory to ensure highest quality care with seamless collaboration between the clinical team and lab technicians.

He has been mentored by founding figures in Periodontal Prosthesis and regularly hosts mentoring programs and dental externship programs for undergraduate students. He served as the 64th President of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and is recognized as a Key Opinion Leader for Dess Dental and Keynote Speaker at the International Dental Tribune.

Dr. Brisman enjoys spending quality time with his family -- his wife, two adult children, and their two golden doodles. He actively collaborates with non-profit organizations to promote prosthodontics.
